Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Bloom. They're written in plain English because we believe the relationship between a product and its users should be clear, not buried in legal language.
What Bloom Is
Bloom is a living profile platform that helps professionals articulate and share who they truly are at work. Your Canvas is a living document that evolves as you do.
Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. One account per person. You must be at least 18 years old to use Bloom.
Your Canvas
Your content belongs to you. The answers you provide, the words you write, the videos you record — these are yours. You grant Bloom a license to display, process, and store this content solely to operate the service and provide your Canvas experience.
You control visibility. You decide what parts of your Canvas are visible and to whom. The North Star section is private by default. Sharing is always your choice.
AI-generated content. When you choose to view the AI-narrated version of your Canvas, Bloom generates an interpretation of your answers. This is clearly labeled as Bloom's interpretation, not your original words.
What You Agree To
By using Bloom, you agree to:
- Provide honest information about yourself
- Not impersonate another person
- Not use Bloom to harass, harm, or deceive others
- Not attempt to access other users' data
- Not use automated systems to scrape or extract data from Bloom
What Bloom Agrees To
We agree to:
- Treat your data with the care described in our Privacy Policy
- Never sell your personal data
- Never share your Canvas with employers without your explicit consent
- Provide you with the ability to edit, export, and delete your data
- Be transparent about how we use AI in the product
- Notify you of meaningful changes to these terms before they take effect
Subscriptions and Payments
Bloom offers paid subscription tiers. When you subscribe:
- You authorize recurring charges at the rate of your chosen tier
- You can cancel at any time — your access continues through the end of your billing period
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — email canvas@getbloom.ink
- Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance
If You Leave
Before you go — Canvas Ember. If you've found what you were looking for and no longer need an active subscription, Canvas Ember ($9/month) keeps your Canvas alive, your data safe, and your story growing quietly in the background. It's available to anyone who's earned it. Ask us about it at canvas@getbloom.ink.
If you choose to fully cancel your subscription or delete your account:
- Your data is deleted within 30 days
- Your Canvas becomes inaccessible to employers
- Any shared Canvas links stop working
- We retain no copy of your Canvas content after deletion
Limitation of Liability
Bloom is a tool for professional self-expression and career development. We do not guarantee employment outcomes. We provide the platform; the authenticity is yours.
Bloom is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bloom's total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months preceding any claim.
Disputes
If you have a concern, email canvas@getbloom.ink first. We'd rather resolve things directly than through lawyers. If formal resolution is necessary, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming.
Changes
We may update these terms. Meaningful changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of Bloom after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
